Happy New Year

I'm new to blogging. I certainly read a lot of blogs. I love reading about what other quilters are doing and especially enjoy reading about quilters in other countries. This is my first entry and we'll see how it goes. I think my life pretty boring as I tend to be a workaholic. A change that I am going to try to remedy this year.

Here's a picture of a quilt that I made a few years ago. I used several colors that are normally not in my palette. I think it turned out well. It currently hangs in my sewing room. Yes, that is me holding the quilt.

Here is a picture of one wall in my sewing room. It's a disaster area.

I hope you find these pictures interesting.

ttfn :) Yuki

I DO!! I DO!! And I get to be your very first visitor! That has to be celebrated some way!! love your quilt. It's a jewelbox quilt right? I'm thinking of starting a baby quilt for some friend's daughter and I think you've led me to the right quilt. I've seen this on other blogs and copied down the directions so all I needed was one last push (which you've given me). This will probably be my first quilt of the year! Thank you.
Your quilt stash makes me envious! And it is so neat! I don't have even an 1/8 of the fabric that you seem to have. And it is all stuffed in drawers too...
Welcome to the blogging world!

Welcome to blogland. Beware though, it can be almost as addictive as quilting!

I look forward to reading about your life, and I have to say, if that wall is a disaster area, well......!

Your jewel box quilt is gorgeous.

Gee this is pretty cool! I love you new site. Maybe when I get motivated I'll give it a try. I just finished baby Hayden's Dora quilt. I promised myself that the next quilt I made would be for me. I think I'm going to start on the jellyroll that you gave me for my birthday last year. I want to make a quilt for my bed. I just hope you have a long arm by the time I'm finished. LOL. Remember the fingerless gloves I knitted a few years ago? I found 2 pair and took them to work. The girls, young and old, went nuts. I got about 10 orders for gloves. What a surprise. I guess I'll do gloves in between my quilt.
