Yuki: I'm an artist at heart but a computer programmer by trade. Compiling a data base is not much different from putting together a quilt. When you make a quilt you gather pieces of cloth that you've gathered from a lot of different shops and/or places and put it all together into one cohesive piece of work...your finished quilt. Compiling a data base is very similar. You gather bits of data from various sources and put it all together into one cohesive piece of work, except in this case the finished work is a data base.
